Hi! I’m Brooke Couch. I’m a full time wedding, elopement, and portrait photographer, but I like to call myself a professional third wheel. I love couples who are madly in love and full of adventure. Currently I reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m available for travel worldwide, so don’t let the distance stop you from reaching out to me (I even have a bucket list of places across the world that I’m willing to work at a discounted price)! I laugh a lot and I love Reese’s. That’s me and my husband in the photo above. We have been married for two years now. For the last three years, Jonathan worked at a wilderness therapy program as a counselor for at-risk youth. It was challenging, as most of our time was spent apart due to his job. We dreamt of the day we could work full time together and I’m thrilled to say that Jonathan recently started working with me full time. We believe that the best work we produce, is when we are working together. Together we love traveling, road trips, sushi, hiking, camping, our dog (and dogs in general), dad jokes, and Star Wars.
Here are a few more pictures of us:
Vision: My style is not traditional- it’s full of passion, it’s messy, it’s you. Through this job, I’ve gotten to read how people interact and connect. No two couples are the same and that’s intriguing to me. You are unique, so your photos will reflect just that. My overall goal is to create images that reflect your personality and give you “the feels”. I want you to look back at your photos many years down the road and remember exactly how you felt in that moment. I am there to document your love story and the way you connect with each other. You just have to be willing to be yourselves and love on each other a whole lot.
Wedding days don’t always go completely as planned, and that’s okay. Embrace the mess– trust me you won’t regret it. If it downpours your entire wedding day or happens to rain during your engagement photos, don’t be afraid to dance in it. If the wind is blowing so hard that it’s messing up your hair, don’t worry because wind makes some of the dreamiest photos. If it’s so hot you want to jump in some water to cool off, let’s go for a swim. Your dress will probably get a little dirty. You’ll be exhausted and hungry. But at the end of the day, you’ll be married to the love of your life. Make sure to soak in every moment, big and small. Years down the road, you’ll look back and smile at the messy moments.
