When I first met with Lacey, one of the first things that she told me was that they wanted water photos on the beach they got engaged at. Right then and there, I knew they were going to be a dream to take photos of. Jonathan and I drove down to Tampa and met them at Baskin Robbins. From there, we had our ice cream and drove to the beach they got engaged at. The weather was weird. It was rainy, windy, and sunny for about an hour. We walked pretty far down the beach and then we got caught in a storm, while we ran back to the car to wait it out. We went back out on the beach when the storm had calmed down, but my cameras were still soaked from getting caught in the rain. To my surprise, my cameras still work! Although we didn’t get in the water the way she wanted due to high tide, they definitely got water photos, as they were soaked from head to toe from the rain by the end of our session. Afterwards, we ate at a questionable buffet. I couldn’t be happier for these two and I’m so thrilled that I get to be their photographer, and friend.
